Successful applicants will have the following education, skills and competencies: Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering and above 3+ years of experience working in application development on IBM i ( AS/ 400) Essential Skills and Competencies Exceptional knowledge of ILE concepts, Modular programming using RPG/ RPGLE (Fixed, Free and Fully Free) , SQLRPGLE, CLP/ CLLE, Working knowledge of Rational Developer for i (RDi) using Lpex editor to write, edit, compile, debug and test RPG code Knowledge of COBOL and Synon/ 2E will be a huge plus Exposure to Agile Methodologies and Lean Kanban practices Experience with common development and test management tools, including SQL, SVN, Jira, Confluence, Test Rail, RCPTT, Test Runner, Jenkins etc. would be an advantage Collaborate with other stakeholders to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention, usability and functional enhancements throughout the development process Participate or lead code reviews and contribute recommendations to improve standards Basic Knowledge of Core Java will be an add on.,
