Hiring, development and training and monitoringof sales personnel.Development of geographic territories and compensation plans for sales personnel.Development of annual volume growth and profit objectives by product line for all sales personnel.Development of new target markets, products, product lines, marketingprograms,and pricing strategie Develop outlets, programs, and sales incentives to sell slow moving inventory.Develop and maintain or improve relationships with key customers.Develop a standard template for all proposals and participate in their presentation to key prospectsDirectly manage all major accounts and critical developing accounts, coordinate the management of all other accounts with their assigned account managers.Frequent travel with sales reps to hone their skills, present proposals, and help them close accounts.Analyze all sales data for profitability, product mix, supply and demand trend and pricing effectiveness.Analyze new accounts closed and effectiveness of closing techniques.Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss results and strategies with sales personnel.Provide market price input and participate in price negotiations with suppliers.Supervise the development and dissemination of marketing materials and supplier promotional materials.Identify and develop relationships with trade associations, develop strategies for attending trade shows, conferences, and business meetings.
