Job Description

    Job Title : Regional Sales Training Manager.Company: Life InsuranceLocation : Madurai.
    • Job Purpose
    To impart training to new joining Direct Sales Employees in Banca Channel to make them ready to be inducted in Sales Units. To take direct ownership of new joinees and run a 3 month cohort to impart classroom based training and field sales training.Execute the month plan as per the calendar by travelling to the assigned branches in their territory ; Maintain records of training and customer conversations; -External trainings to update knowledge in the financial sector 2) Job Context & Major Challenges Key Challenges for the role Team Management Thinking about constantly improving training content High focus on developing quality DSEs 3) Principal Accountabilities A) Implementation of training architecture and running learning cohorts throughout the year : 1. Run 3 month learning cohorts as per the training architecture, 2. Deliver classroom training and field training to new joining DSEs , 3. Ensure adherence and execution of Training Architecture , 4. Adherence to planned Quarterly Calendar , 5. Conduct evaluation of DSEs on specified intervals as per the schedule, 6. Aligning with Business & Identifying training needs across the respective regions of ABSLI and develop content with respect to the gaps , 7. Measuring the effectiveness of all trainings conducted B) Team Management 1. Manage a team of 10 newly joined Sales Executive and sr sales executive for their first 3 months in the channel 2. Take daily training sessions during the classroom training period for all the old and new employees 3. Manage the activity of the sales personnel during field trainings 4. Prepare the team for induction into Sales units after 3-month cohort ends 5. Manage attrition within the team for the duration of cohort as well as for the entire first year journey of the sales /sr sales executive C) Direct Sales Employees Performance1. Directly responsible for soft targets of SEs in the first 3 months relating to business activities and exposure to processes and systems of sales 2. Act as a guide to the SE after they are inducted into Sales Units 3. Conduct quarterly reviews with SEs and their SMs on DSEs performance 5) Job Purpose of Direct Reports 1. In the first 3 months, SEs will be responsible for clearing the evaluations held by Sales Training Manager 2. SEs will have to deliver on activity-based targets 3.
