Job Description

    PIPING ENGINEER OIL & GASLOCATION MANGLORE INTERVIEW AT HYDRABAD ON 17TH OCTOBER 24 FACE TO FACE ROUNDJDTo Manage piping engineering activities and deliverables specified for Modular Process Skid engineering of projects including day to day working and coordination to ensure smooth execution of project related deliverables.BE / Diploma 2D, 3D OR Piping Engineering Experience 5-10 yrs Knowledge and Skills 1. Good written & Oral communication skills 2. Cross functional Co-ordination skills 3. Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and MS Project) Key Job Success factors (Key Responsibilities) 1. Undertake contract, design basis, and client specifications review to understand overall scope and nature of requirements 2. Prepare costing, schedules, activity plans, in line with project proposal/ overall schedule and identify risk 3. Ensure all documents (Skid layouts , Equipment Layout and Plot Plan, Piping General Arrangement, Line List, Input document, Equipment CLD) are accurate and complete on schedule . 4. Prepare Piping Study and snake routing with supports and review nozzle orientation with process and static engineering departments. 5. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in an accurate, timely manner, as the quality requirements of Praj Quality Management Systems. 6. Enable Model Reviews and approval as per project procedure. 7. Manage Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Field Change Request (FCR) w.r.t. Piping engineering with effective, ontime closure. 8. Build capability of 3D modelers Other Responsibilities 1. Bulk / Preliminary MTO for estimation / procurement & its entry in MTO software 2. Input document / vendor document review & commenting 3. Piping MTO, Special Part Data Sheets preparation & SAP Indents 4. Coordination with Modeler & other disciplines during project cycle. 5. Identify risk areas or bottlenecks. Technical Competencies 1. Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to sector & industry 2. Well-versed with piping engineering aspects & activities 3. Understanding of design Codes, Material standards & regulations (ASME , ASTM , API etc.) 4. Conversant with IBR piping / PED/CE marking , OSHA , PESO and other necessary standard for Oil & Gas sector. 5. Conversant with Piping Components & dimensions / material standards. 6. Conversant with Piping engineering of Oil & gas , Hydrocarbon industries , offshore & onshore 7. Hands-on Experience of 3D Modeling (Software like PDS, PDMS/E3D, Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD etc.) 8. Conversant with other disciplines like Civil, structure, Instrumentation, static / Rotary equipment & packages 9.
