Job Description

Role Overview:As an Executive - Quality Assurance (Field Quality), your primary responsibility will be to oversee and ensure the quality of seed production. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all field practices adhere to the highest standards. This position will require extensive knowledge of field production for various crops and will involve frequent travel to different locations.Key Responsibilities:- Design and generate robust standard operating processes (SOPs) for monitoring field production of various vegetable and field crops.- Develop and implement detailed inspection plans and checklists for field quality evaluations.- Conduct regular audits of field operations to assess crop quality and adherence to established protocols.- Analyze data from field inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are taken.- Work closely with field production teams to ensure proper procedures are followed during all stages of crop growth and development.- Implement best practices for field production to optimize quality and yield.- Maintain accurate records of all field activities and production data, design and generate reports on a regular basis.Qualification Required:- M.Sc. in Seed Science and Technology or a closely related field.- Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrably successful experience in field quality assurance.- Proven experience in conducting field audits and inspections.- Excellent knowledge of production practices, including planting, fertilization, pest management, and harvesting.- Ability to identify and diagnose potential problems with vegetable and field crops.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.- Ability to travel to field locations.,
