POSITION SUMMARY This Position is responsible for managing the Machine Shop functions involving Daily Production, Safety activities, TPM activities, related to the operation of machinery like CNC machining centers, GPMs, SPMs, Leak testing machines & Washing machines POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensuring safety by implementing proactive approach Meeting daily shift wise Production schedules as per Planning requirements. Manpower Handling , Manpower Training and development. Achieving organization s business objectives of Product Quality, Productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Implementation of Company s Quality management Systems. Ensuring legal requirement pertaining to his area of work. Implementing Total productive Maintenance in machine shop POSITION SPECIFICATIONS : B. Engg. Mechanical or Production Engineering 3 years of experience in Machine Shop of machine tool in Automotive, Engine, tractor, or their parts manufacturing company of repute.
KEY COMPETENCIES: Understand of CNC systems of Mazak, Makino and Fanuc. Understanding of machine operations like Milling, Drilling Boring, reaming, turning and grinding Understanding of tooling used in automotive parts manufacturing operations. Expertise in reading and understanding CMM reports Expertise in fixture dialing and their alignments. Understanding of engineering drawings, Computer Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge and experience of using problem solving techniques like Why-Why analysis, FMEA, 7 QC tools. KEY CONTACTS : INTERNAL Line officers of Customer departments i.e. Quality Engineering Assembly, Store, PPC and all other departments Line Officers of Supplier departments i.e. Store, Tool Room, ME, PPC, Maintenance, Utility, ER, HR Superiors and other line officers of Machine Shop
