Technical Requirements1. 4-6 years of strong database DBA (Microsoft SQL Server ) experience2. Experience as a DBA using SQL Server 2008-2016 (standalone, Always-ON and clustered)3. Experience installing, tuning, and maintaining SQL Server in a Windows environment.4. Understanding of database performance tuning strategies and goals.5. Experience with disaster recovery strategies including log shipping and standby databases and highavailabilities ( Always On)6. Good to have knowledge on IDERA monitoring tool.7. Basics of PowerShell and automation using tsql and PowerShell8. Good to have knowledge on Service Now ticketing tool.9. Understanding of TDE for SQL server database.Job Responsibilities1. As a SQL server DBA you will be managing production approx. 800+ SQL server instance as part of 18SQL server DBAs.2. You will be part of 24*7 DBA support group.3. Your responsibilities includes as per belowWhat you bring:i. Monitoring the SQL server database using IDERA monitoring tool.ii. Monitoring the SQL server backups and fixing the backups in case of issues.iii. Adhoc Backup and restore operations for non-prod database refresh.iv. Support Disaster recovery drill bi-annually.v. Monitoring and reviewing health check of SQL server databases.vi. Create Automation for day to day activities to reduce manual intervention using PowerShell or t-SQL.vii. Installation and configuration of SQL server for standalone , cluster and always on setup.viii. Performance tuning.ix. Patching the SQL server instance for standalone, clustered and always on setup.x. Upgrade and migration of SQL server database.xi.
