Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Should be cost estimations for castings, machining components for new developments and design changes.
    • Able to identify and make detail estimates for the casting/ machining Tooling for the part.
    • Part cost estimations to be done at different stages of the project- initial business case, target cost setting.
    • Should be well versed with all related manufacturing processes, GD&T and able to select as per drawing requirements.
    • Study of cost drivers to optimize the cost through various alternative process, analysis, and close gaps vs targets at actualization.
    • Identify areas of cost reduction through design iteration to achieve the cost optimization at design stage itself.
    • Study new & existing manufacturing processes at supplier end to prepare Costing guidelines & std estimation Templates.
    • Collaborative working to Drive & follow Design to Cost culture in the organization.
