Job Description

    Must have 5+ years hands on experience with Oracle Database administration (Release 12c, 19c)Must have 2+ years hands on experience in PostgresMust possess knowledge about cloud technology DBaaS, PaaS, IaaS on OCI, AWS, AzureExpert level Oracle Database Administration (Configuration, Maintenance, Cloning, Patching, Dataguard, Multitenant)Have worked on Oracle Database/ASM/RAC Installation, Upgradation, Migration projectsMust have troubleshooting skills on RAC, Database, Performance Tuning and Backup Recovery etcExcellent understanding of the underlying operating system (Linux/Windows), network and storageHands on experience of Oracle Enterprise Manager and Shell-ScriptingKnowledge about ITIL process, tools and good ability to understand business functionality, processes and flowsGood knowledge on Oracle Exadata Environment will be an added advantageStrong presentation and communication skillsBroad knowledge of existing and emerging IT technologiesJob Responsibilities:Be willing to work in night shifts on a rotational basisKnowledge on the ticketing tools and should be aware about the ITIL Process.Coordinate with Infrastructure Team, Applications Team, Provisioning Team and different stakeholdersSetup and maintain documentation and standards.Excellent Communication Skills and ability to set the right expectationsAble to manage/prioritize work, meet deadline with attentions to details & quality.Should be team player, mentor junior engineers to help the team learn and growResponsible for performing deep incident analysis, RCAs, post incident reports.Identify & recommend system improvements & apply industry best practices.,
