Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Experience in collaborating with systems,software,electrical and mechanical disciplines to develop a integrated hardware product. Well-versed with Industrial communication sytem like Teamcenter or similar. Must have good understand ing of Electrical engineering concepts and CAD tools like NX-10/ CREO,Cap-H/ZUKEN. Awareness of stand ards and compliances like IS, IEC,JIS,IPC to implement in various part and component level items. Know-how and Resolution of Field complaints based on warranty RPH data. Coordinate activities amongst aggregates to ensure adherence to TQM requirements to facilitate process improvements. Design of all electrical and electromechanical components for vehicles such as starter motor, alternator,magnetos,bateries,instrument cluster,solenoid,sensing elements/sensors,electronic controllers,ls,etc as per performance,quality,cost and weight targets. Design of vehicle electrical power distribution system,circuit protection system and wiring harness. Layout and packaging of parts in vehice DMUfrom concept stageand finalise considering all aspects of functionality and manufacturability. Design of optial routing of wiring harness in vehicle, maximizing electrical reliabilty, ease of assembly and aesthetics. Ensure quality through FMEA and DFMEA tools in the design phase. Define performance and reliabilty test parameters,produres for such components and parts. Benchmarking and generation of new ideas. Define the overall activity schedule for all projects,monitor the same periodically and take appropriate actions to ensure targeted deliveries.
