Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To contribute to building ISB as a strong brand by:
    • Creating messaging and content for multifaceted platforms
    • Liaising with the media on a regular basis for disseminating messaging and content for positive reinforcement of the ISB bran
    • Job Outline The job holder needs to interact with various departments at ISB to create messaging and content press releases, websites, media story etc. In order to ensure effective execution of the job she needs to understand the needs of various departments, analyze the same and contribute accordingly. The incumbent is also expected to seek guidance and support from superiors to enable flawless execution of the job. The job holder is also required to interact continually with vendors like designers, tracking agencies and photographers and videographers for event coverage. She is also expected to maintain and keep updating the communications material for the school. The job holder will be expected to already have a good understanding of how the Indian media works and a prior experience and contacts in media will be required. To support school s event with media and content support The ability to read , write and converse in Punjabi will be an additional advantage
    Skills and Qualifications Job Specification Knowledge Education Specific Skills Desirable Experience Diploma Degree in PR or communication( not a bar for ideal candidate though) Good written and verbal skills, PR skills, understanding of media relations 2 - 4 years Job InterfaceRelationships:

      1 Information gathering from internal stakeholders for crafting into specific messaging about the School as per the set guidelines

      4 Maintaining and upgrading the school media base and PR documentation
