    Job Category:Accounts & FinanceJob Type:Full TimeJob Location:MumbaiSalary:4-5L PAYears of Experience:2-4 yearsThis position is for multinational General insurance and reinsurance company.We are looking for Accounts Controller who needs to service a portfolio of Client and / or Reinsurer ledger accounts pertaining to one geography / region.Ensuring balances are collected and paid in accordance with contractual requirements or pre-defined service standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesTrainee / Advisor and Senior AdvisorFollow all processes explicitly to ensure the secure, efficient and auditable handling of clients moniesMaintain up to date and accurate recordsOwn the fiscal relationship for designated clients / reinsurers. Act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to paymentActively service accounts to a high standard and within deadlines. Ensure timely collection and payment of monies due to / from clients, reinsurers and third parties; reconciliation, chasing and minimisation of fundingUse MI to identify debtor related problems and escalate / negotiate / influence where necessary toresolve.Review and correlate cash on a daily basisEnsure compliance with Willis internal accounting and settlement procedures and external regulations (e.g. FCA)Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned Clients / Reinsurers / Third partiesLiaise with Client Service Managers and other associates as appropriate to ensure Business Unit targets metEscalate issues to Client Service Manager / Operations Director / Account Executive as appropriateAdhere to standardised Group policies and procedures, Accounting and Settlement fundamentals,including all CEM and other regulatory requirementsDeliver as per the KPIs defined for the role. To always maintain set SLA Accuracy/Quality, TAT standardsprescribed by the Business Unit meeting Willis Re Servicing Standards and metricsManage workload / volumes and delivery expectations as per business requirementSenior AdvisorWhere required, perform accurate authorising in accordance with the Payment Authorisation ManualDevelop a sound understanding of the business processWork independently (or with the Technical Team / AM / CSA) to manage and resolve queries fromClients and Claims adjusters / Reinsurers, seeking assistance as required, ensuring escalation wherenecessary, and resolution with minimum delayManage workload / volumes and delivery expectations as per business requirementEnsure adherence to compliance and operate within the guidelines of internal and external regulators.Ensure that all statutory and company procedures are followed while processing work to protectclients, colleagues and the business interests of the company.Ensure ongoing, effective relationships with stakeholders (Internal/external)Ensure all relevant reports (Operational and Financial) are reviewed on a timely basis and relevantcomments are updatedWorks proactively with peer group and team members to share knowledge to achieve the best results for theclients / markets
