Job Description

Short DescriptionQualificationsJob ResponsibilitiesRole Account Controller 6yrs to 9yrs MumbaiRoles & Responsibilities

  • Monthly Book Close Drive month/quarter/annual closes and ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting , posting entries accruals , cost transfers , prepayments & WIP/BIA transfers
  • Preparation of monthly forecast file and M review deck, tracking revenue forecast
  • Monitoring Invoicing Team for timely billing to client. Raising Invoice in system for project specific cases on time to time basis. Sending the final invoice to client and be the SPOC for invoice related queries from Client.
  • Attend the monthly close calls with Project Managers and PMOs for Project sanity checking and make necessary correction / amendments in time & expense booking.
  • Financial Month end reporting , M review packs and Reconciliation files, Analysis of Actuals to Forecast and Budget, investigating reasons for the difference, variance and Business performance Analysis on Contribution & Margin.
  • Analyze the Forecast data along with Project Managers and Financial Controller. Upload /amend forecast data in Management reporting tool.
  • Handle any project management financial issues raised by Project Managers as business partner and resolution of the same.
  • Drive process improvements, and other initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Any adhoc requirement to ensure business alignment and deliver forward looking information and insights that drive high business performance and growth.
Required Skills
  • Sound Finance & Accounting Knowledge.
  • Excellent Excel Skills required.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills .
  • Multi Tasking; Ability to prioritize, attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge or prior experience in ERP systems (Oracle) would be an advantage
