Job Description

*Job Responsibilities for PPS Sellersville:

  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions including input new employees into payroll database and keep employee information up to date.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Manage ACA processing and reporting through ADP
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Ensure Employee Access page is kept up-to-date with effective communications, compliance postings, and access to links and employee documents
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Conduct audits of tax forms, payroll balance sheets, and benefits.
  • Maintain and update payroll database system
Job Responsibilities for All US Locations:
  • Designated as ADP Administrator for all US sites, providing the final sign-off for payroll processing at each location
  • Works with each location s payroll contact, ensuring the timely completion and accuracy of payroll files
  • Ensure optimization of the ADP Workforce Now system for payroll processes, employee communications, and self-services through continuous monitoring and maintenance of enhancements and available upgrades
  • Serve as SPOC on efficient utilization of ADP for Site HR/Finance team
  • Coordinates with Site HR to ensure Employee Access page is kept up-to-date with effective communications, compliance postings, and access to links and employee documents
  • Provide support to Site HR for ADP and benefits configuration and open enrollment process
  • Collaborate with Site HR/Finance team to improve the overall end to end processes related to payroll and benefits for all locations
  • ADP SPOC for Employee Service Center for benefit enrollments, timekeeping, taxes, direct deposits, etc.
  • Support in managing the ACA processing and reporting through ADP
  • Support the Site HR/Finance in responding to and manage unemployment claims
  • Complete/support the filings of all required monthly, quarterly and annual federal and state reports
  • Research and respond to inquiries from staff and external parties regarding payroll and time & attendance issues, garnishment, employment verification
  • Audit support to produce required information for payroll, 401(k), etc.
  • ADP configuration for optimization of benefits, leaves of absence, and other related processes
  • Run ad hoc reports for management as needed
Local and Statutory Compliances:
  • Partner with Sites HR/Finance for required governmental and compliance reporting and questionnaires such as employment security, EEO-1, ACA, FFCRA, etc.
  • Partner with Site HR/Finance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate plan modifications to incorporate required updates

  • Minimum Associates Degree preferred or work experience equivalent.
  • Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience including processing payroll, benefits systems configuration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs, ADP Comprehensive platform strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines while handling complex and confidential issues that require resolution.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of Payroll best practices, wage (local, state and federal) laws and having experience setting up new states for tax purposes is a plus.
