Job Description

Principle Accountabilities

  • Delivery Management
  • Ensure achievement of agreed SLAs by the team in the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for relevant, timely and accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adequate assistance in the closure of the books of the accounts on monthly and annual basis.
  • Ensure Compliance with the accounting policies, procedures and the accounting GAAPs
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify areas of improvement in existing processes to ensure better SLA delivery
  • Business Liaison
  • Maintain good working relationships with all JLT colleagues and 3 rd parties
  • Continually strive to raise the profile of Captive Insurance Accounting within and outside the organisation
Person SpecificationsEducationEssential:Chartered Accountant/Any other Professional QualificationWork QualificationsEssential: 2-3years of relevant work experience of preparing financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet and Annual reports.KnowledgeEssential:: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Desirable: working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAPSkills & AbilitiesEssential:
  • Good Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Analytical abilities & eye for detail
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Good MS Excel and MS Word skills.
