To ensure strong delivery of business intelligence and insights for the Aerospace business, with a combination of data, analytics, IT, and business research driven projects. Principle Accountabilities 1. Delivery Management Support JLT Specialty in mining, organising and using data effectively, across different sources and classes, both internal and external Perform effective primary and secondary research Display competency in broad understanding and interpretation of financial statements Link knowledge of global political, economic, social, technological and regulatory environment to business performance Contribute to analytics and insights execution, tool development and evolution, dashboard development, and business development initiatives Leverage previous research knowledge to suggest unique solutions 2. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with JLT Specialty colleagues regarding final outputs and insights, and how they will be presented to other JLT professionals, prospects, and clients Business Skills 1. Knowledge and Expertise Basic MS Office capabilities, primarily excel, and familiarity with pivot tables and slicers, dashboard construction, and functions like lookup Knowledge of VBA programming and QlikView will be an added advantage Robust data analysis acumen using trend analyses, statistical techniques, and general business awareness amongst others Initial understanding of the Aerospace industry, and of the basic insurance programs relevant to the industry will be an added advantage Experience with research databases and tools like Bloomberg, Factiva, etc. will be an added advantage 2. Other Skills Strong and proactive communication skills and stakeholder management skills Ability to apply creative solutions to consolidate complex information and present it in a meaningful and engaging format Ability to understand and clarify business objectives EducationEssential: Graduate in any stream/recent MBA Desirable: Relevant professional certification in data analytics/visualisation Work Qualifications 1-2 years of research and analytics experience ,
