About:
  • Capital Markets Origination ( CMO ) focuses on the origination of equity and equity-linked, fixed income and securitisation/Asset-Backed products. Through CMO, Citi executes Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on offerings, Convertible Bonds offerings, High Grade/High Yield debt instruments, Asset/Mortgage backed securities and loans
  • Within CMO, the Equity Capital Markets ( ECM ) team focuses on a spectrum of products including initial public offerings, follow-on/secondary offerings, private placements, convertible bond offerings and block trades
Role Outline/Job Summary:
  • Citi India ECM is a leading equity franchise in the country for over 10 years now, having a diversified deal roster across industries and products. The analyst role entails assisting the team in origination and execution of the high volume of ECM transactions
Role & Responsibilities:Business/Department Objectives:
  • To continue to maintain its leadership position in the India ECM market.
  • Deliver high quality and customized solutions for clients to help them best achieve their outcomes
  • Maintain/defend wallet-share and growth
Core Responsibilities:
  • Compile, analyze and assimilate financial information
  • Understand the fundamentals of equity and equity-linked valuation
  • Become familiar with the valuation models and conduct required analysis
  • Play a fundamental role in deal origination and execution process
  • Understand key roles in the financial markets
  • Understand the various ECM products and their nuances
  • Understand the various regulations governing Indian securities market
  • Monitor and understand key trends in the global financial markets
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Working on ECM pitch books and follow on materials
  • Maintain repositories of credentials, market updates and deal precedents
  • Assist the team in execution of live ECM mandates
  • Conduct investor targeting analysis for various situations
Individual Contributor (IC)/Managerial: ICKey Deliverables:
  • Consistently high quality materials for clients
  • Ability to multi-task various deliverables during the day
  • Track and understand broader equity market developments
Percentage of Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time, *Qualifications:Required:Education:
  • MBA
Experience:
  • 1 2 years
Skills:
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills (Logic)
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Competent Bloomberg, Power Point and Excel skills
  • Basic Knowledge in Finance & Accounting

  • Time management and multi-tasking
