Job Description

This person will be a key member of the ISS Application Development team that will be focused on helping automate business processes by building well - engineered applications and processes to meet business needs. Responsibilities

The job responsibilities will include working on a variety of processes, including User Interface design/development, middle - tier components and database.

  • Writing high - quality, high - performance, maintainable code
  • Offer design expertise and quickly offer prototype design options to stakeholders, c reating visual prototypes to illustrate user experiences
  • Maintain and refactor an existing code base
  • Provide technical support to business users of above systems
  • Write clear technical documentation
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface or new technologies

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • ~3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in application development involving/using following:
    • Object oriented programming (Java and/or Python)
    • UI development and JS frameworks like AngularJS/React.
    • RESTful web services
    • SQL Server or an equivalent RDBMS
    • Familiarity with Version control and build tools (like svn, maven)
    • Familiarity with of any webserver/application server (like Tomcat)
    • Ability to multi - task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing and complex environment to meet business requirements
    • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and technical teams
    • Willingness to learn and work on different technologies and tools.
    • Strong Team player who is Self - starter, self - motivated and likes learning and innovation.
    • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
