Job Description

  • Responsible for technical know-how of various applications in different segments, including Confectionery, Beverage, Dairy and Prepared Foods.
  • Completes assigned projects in a timely manner and ensures all technical and customer requirements are successfully met.
  • Completes monthly reporting as required, and reports all key project metrics, as required.
  • Knowledge of the principles of color chemistry and color measurement, and color matching.
  • Understands the chemistry and functionality of food ingredients in color formulations.
  • Has ability to design simple blends and formulations of existing color building blocks and food ingredients for application projects as required.
  • Supervises the scientists and technical personnel within the Applications departments and ensures their individual development and growth.
  • Visits customers/hosts customer on-site visits, to provide technical consultation and conduct technical presentations throughout the region.
  • Understands and delivers superior customer service and technical support in providing solutions to customers.
  • If required will need to give technical training to technical, sales, sales support from the region
