Our support of critical business functions extends to archival & records management, business continuity planning and due diligence investigations.As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be responsible for hands-on development experience in Java, Spring, J2EE, Web Services, SQL databased development, UI Frameworks and Technologies across all phases of the software development lifecycle and assisting the Product Owner and squad in product delivery. The ideal candidate should have the skills listed below but in addition should be a self-driven, dedicated individual who works well in a team and thinks and acts strategically. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skills and expertise of those around them.Key Responsibilities Estimation & end to end execution of required changes, coordination with stakeholders as required Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of multiple applications or frameworksTranslate high-level business requirements on multiple, complex requests into detailed functional, technical, and/or system specificationsTest software designs and solutions (including unit testing and integrated testing)Build and maintain automated test suites for applicationsSupport and respond to user queries or issues; determine the root cause and best resolution of escalated issuesWork with data management team and data providers to communicate and define any data (including data quality) and reporting requirements, *Required technical Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field At least 3+ years of hands-on application development utilizing Java or Scala Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS3 and HTML5 Experience with MVC patterned applications using JavaScript frameworks and working with front end development teams, preferably in Angular Solid understanding of DB concepts and working with relational databases (DB2, Sybase) Experience in developing web services using standard Java based frameworks/toolkits (REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML) A strong understanding of SDLC principles and experience delivering in Agile/Scrum Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environmentsRequired Personal Skills: A very strong communicator with the ability to interface directly with clients and analysts to ensure technical requirements and delivery align with expectations Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks assigned Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment Good customer service skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations/individuals gracefullySkills Desired: Knowledge of Financial services Experience with Angular and/or other modern frameworks would be a plus Prior experience with Trade surveillance and products like Actimize Experience with ETL or Data integration tools like Informatica, TalenD Experience with Data visualization tools and reporting tools Experience with Cloud based tools and technologies UI Design experience, specifically for web applications Unix OS, Scripting, Python or Perl Experience in development on other application types (Web applications, batch, or streaming) Proficient in DevOps tooling and practices
