In this position, you will get to: Design Build: Be responsible for designing, developing and deploying solutions that will include EAI, API, ETL and EDIWork with end users, IT business analysts, the integration team and other IT build teams to understand needs for data application integration within the organization.Perform source system and source data analysis/ profilingDevelop source-to-target mapping design specifications business glossariesCompliance, Embedded Security Privacy by design: Compliance, Embedded Security Privacy by design: Ensure that all major software and hardware components of the integration landscape are up to date to ensure secure and stable operations.Ensure that access to both data and/ or code is secure and in accordance with business requirements IT policies.Support data collection requirements for auditsTechnical Architecture: Technical Architecture: Actively maintain a development service catalog a repository of development offerings/ best practicesProvide guidance and mentoring to team members across the business and IT teams on how to develop solutions on our chosen integration platform (s) Ensure ongoing compatibility of integrations between our major enterprise applications including, but not limited to, ERP, Ecommerce, BI, PLM and CRM (both on the ground, and in the cloud) Criteria : Education : Bachelor s degree in information technology, computer science or MIS required. Experience : 5+ years of overall experience in information technology of which 3+ years in hands-on solution delivery and support of EDI and/ or Enterprise integration solutionsExperience in delivering solutions with various integration methodologies such as EDI, EAI and ETL.Experience in delivering solutions with integration technologies such as OpenText (TrustedLink, BizManager) , 1EDI Source (EDI/ HQ) , Microsoft BizTalk, GlobalScape, InformaticaExperience with a major iPaaS platform such as Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or Informatica is a major plusDemonstrated experience with developing a middleware layer that acts as both, a means of mediation, and federationUnderstanding of various integration architectures and topologies with a good grasp on tradeoffsUnderstanding of data communication protocols (FTP, MQTT, Kafka) , data formats (XML, JSON) and data standards (EDIFACT, X12) Experience with managing EDI trading partner relationshipsExperience with SAP (IDocs, EDI configuration, workflow) JDE and AS/ 400 experience is a plusExperience with developing and implementing X12 EDIFACT EDI documents (including but not limited to 810, 850, 855, 856, 844, 867, 842, 832, 820, 845, 830) At nVent, we connect and protect our customers with inventive electrical solutions.
