Position Overview: This position is for Application Support Analyst for its Rapid Response Mainframe Applications Support group. The individual will support the following production/application activities for WM Mainframe batches.This position is based in Mumbai, IndiaThis individual must have excellent problem solving skills and be able to demonstrate how they are applied within a global support environment. Excellent communication skills are a must for this position. Technical skills should complement the problem solving and communication skills to deliver a highly effective individual who is capable of adding real value individually and through a team. Candidate will have to provide hands-on application/production support. The primary responsibility of this individual is to provide applications support, working with operations, developers and infrastructure groups to troubleshoot production issues in suite of applications. Candidates must be demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes as required.Responsibilities and Deliverables:-Application and Batch Monitoring-Application Tuning-Production Metrics-Problem Resolution-Release Management-Supporting regulatory, management and activities on daily, monthly and quarterly basis-Remediation of Information Risk Gaps within applications-Business Continuity Testing-Minor reporting and bug fixesThe individual will be responsible to ensure that the applications met their required service levels (SLA) and are the most stable and best performing application in the industry. He/she will be responsible to support process improvements to continuously improve the stability and performance of these applications. This person will need to have flexible work hours as team works in shifts from early morning to late in the evening India time and also adhoc support requirement to cover implementation/migration/ holidays etc.Skill Requirements:6+ Years of production support experience on Mainframe environment.Well verse with COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM, FileAid, ChangeMan, SORT and EASYTRIEVE.Good Analytical and problem solving skills.Strong monitoring and escalation skills.Good interpersonal skills with focus on cross team collaboration.Strong debugging and trouble shooting skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Expertise in incident and problem management procedures.Good to have:Experience on scheduler Zeke.Experience on REXX, ICETOOL and MQ.Knowledge on finance domain.Professional RequirementsStrong interpersonal skills with focus on cross team collaboration.Strong technical documentation skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to multi-task /change focus quickly,
