Job Description

    *Role Responsibilities This role in Client Coverage Technology is within Click here to enter Department details for the position of Business Analyst.Business Solutions The role is to participate business use case discussions, ensure the requirements are clearly defined and perform impact and gap analysis. This is the professional who creates high-level design, drafts solution architecture, prepares product requirement document and by working with the technical team (architect and developers), creates technical specifications and designs.
    • Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the SCB and the data industry.
    Subject Matter Expert
    • Analyse and understand numerous business process flows in the corporate client lifecycle , roles involved and establish as an SME / go-to-person for data related clarifications pertaining to identified processes.
    • Provide insights to business, management and other key stakeholders.
    • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
    • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
    Bridge Product Owners and Developers
    • Translate the high-level product vision and initiatives into tangible, detailed requirements for developers. This can be in the form of process flows, product requirement documents, functional specifications, and user stories.
    Support Product Owners
    • Prioritise requirements by assessing and documenting their impact and costs to the business. Help the Product Owners manage the product backlog by providing input and justifying prioritisation. Document and raise any Risks and Issues to the Product Owners, Business owners and Program Management.
    Process Improvements and Quality
    • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.
    • Thereby propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
    Process Automation
    • Process automation is a core requirement. Identify process automation opportunities and support the business process owner to get the use cases defined.
    Product Evaluations
    • Research process automation products available in the market to shortlist few for evaluations. Drive the vendor engagements including NDA agreements and Proof of Concepts till finalising the vendor product for implementation.
    Support Development and Testing
    • Support developers and testers by providing the first level of functional clarifications during development and prepare UAT test cases for testing phase.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
    • Preferable B.Tech or BE or MBA grade in Computer Science / Information Systems or related IT area.
    • Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases.
    • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing.
    • Any Data Science Certification like CAP or ADSA or CCA or CCP etc is desirable.
    • Data tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, DataIKU ( or Qlik , Data Robot, etc).
    • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, Python (& R).
    • Data processing platforms like Hadoop.
    • Agile Scrum Master certification.
    • Product owner certification.
