MS Investment Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the global technical platforms that supports the MSIM Business.The individual will be working with the MSIM Global Operations IT group. Operations IT owns and manages a suite of world class 24 x 7 applications with a mix of both vendor and in-house products. The team has been a leader in the industry with the adoption of cutting edge technologies and is currently looking to start a new practice around robotics process automation, which would allow business to save cost and bring efficiency to several operational processes.Role & Responsibilities We are looking for a VP role to join the team that is responsible for the following platforms:> Trade Service Layer (TSL) for MSIM is a platform which trade flow from Trading systems to Back officed used in MSIM. TSL is being used in trading, accounting, reporting systems. It manages the trade flow from all the MSIM trading systems and other cash flow process as well.> ETF Fund Service for MSIM is ETF trade flow management platform. This system manages the intraday order process and end of day transaction, holdings and Basket process. > TWMS for MSIM is a Fund in Fund trade execution, settlement process system. It manages the Fund-in-Fund trade from Trading Systems and send execution to Transfer Agent and Custodians.The person will get involved in the strategic discussion with business stack holders and pave a path for team to design, develop, and test multi-tier systems and components across the above platforms. He/She will provide Trade flow support for Asian and European Market, also need to lead small developer team to deliver project. Strong interpersonal skills and good team spirit is required in addition to proficiency in verbal and written business communication. This job demands strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple priorities. As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a body of knowledge that is accessible to all team members, clients, board members and employees. They must be available and willing to listen to any problems team members may face and help them to overcome any obstacles., *Primary Skills / Must haveWe are looking for a passionate technologist whos ready to learn & experiment with a wide range of technologies. Ideal candidate will have:> Strong development experience in Java (8 and above) and Spring and Sprint Boot framework.> Working knowledge of JavaScript and advanced version (React and/or Angular)> Strong knowledge of Microservices / Service Oriented Architecture / Restful servicesStrong knowledge of SQLs and writing optimized queries/stored procedures with any relational database> Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments> Experience in Devops, Test Driven Development.> Strong development skills with ability to
