Requisition Title - CIB Operations India Data Hub Data Readiness Lead - Vice PresidentThis exciting opportunity to join the India Data Hub which sits in Digital and Platform Services, specifically Asset Reference Data Services (ARDS). The role reports directly to the Director of Global Instrument Reference Data Operations, as part of Securities Services Operations. Who we are: ARDS was created with the mission to help improve the quality, integrity, and reliability of the firms critical data covering the Instrument and Pricing domains and sits within Securities Services. The organizations objectives are to deliver business impact through fit-for-purpose data, improve data capabilities across multiple lines of businesses (LOBs), implement data controls, and deliver reference data. ARDS establishes expectations that drive consistent data governance practices, develops technologies and processes to support data governance capabilities, partners with LOBs to embed data governance best practices and capabilities, and ensures sustainability by refining, measuring, and improving the ability to manage data. About this team: Within ARDS the Instrument Reference Data Operations team provides high quality Reference Data to its subscribers from major external market providers under a single operating model. Instrument attributes are sourced, validated, mastered, and distributed via J.P. Morgan s strategic Reference Data architecture and is used for trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting. A bit about the role: We are seeking a Vice-President specializing in Program Management and Artificial Intelligence Solutions to join the Asset Reference Data Services Team and lead the implementation of data solutions for the Instrument operations team. The role will involve oversight of technology releases, management of the operations aligned book of work and delivery on key strategic projects. The successful candidate should be able to provide thought leadership and execute successfully on the reference data operations data digitalization journey. A day in the life (key responsibilities):
• Responsible for end-to-end Change Projects, Business Analysis and Testing for Instrument Operations
• Support strategic projects in partnership with Ops & Tech partners for seamless change adoption
• Ensure proper controls are in place to reduce financial risks
• Drive & deliver process optimization projects to reduce Ops manual touch points using new & innovative tools including but not limited to, UI Path, Owl DQ, Alteryx and so on.
• Assist where needed with the management of the productivity stream and that will contribute to the annual productivity targets for Operations
• Responsible for Data and process, special projects and analyses that are impacting the strategic reference data platform
• Responsible for the timely execution of project tasks, stakeholder updates, resolving and escalating issues relating to the project
• Partner with technology team and Operations team to deliver change to our production environment.
The must have s:
• 8+ years experience within Financial Services ideally in a Project management or Data Management role
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically with respect to data, technology and risk & control
• Communicates clearly, concisely, with honesty and creates a work environment for others to do the same
• Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure
• Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusted relationships
• Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and consistently innovates and achieves great results
• Strong practical experience of data collation and presentation
• Experience in working with agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence and so on
The nice to have:
• Project Manager Program (PMP) qualified
• Knowledge of instrument reference data and core financial products
• Core understanding of the strategic reference data technologies utilized in JPM
• The ability to integrate fun as a way of being and working
