Job Description- Art Director Job Role Art Director Reporting to Group Head Art/ Creative Director Location Mumbai The Art Director will lead the art team, provide direction, intervene at key phases in the progression of a campaign and be involved in sustained mentoring of the team. One of the key attributes imperative for the position includes translating strategic ideas into well-nuanced, effective and impactful forms of design, across various online and offline platforms. The Art Director would be closely working with the Group Head (Art, Copy)/ Creative Director. The freedom to cocreate with an enthusiastic team, collaborate with team members of other allied verticals and embark on a learning journey are few of the perks that come along with every responsibility and position. Experience: 8-10 years Key Deliverables: Generating clear ideas and concepts Developing a strong strategic understanding and partnership with planning Executing designs that are aligned with the creative vision and ideas Ensuring all jobs are executed within the given timeframe Managing and delegating responsibilities to other designers and provide direction Driving the art team to meet up the daily creative productivity Being updated with all latest trends and maintaining best practices Understanding of the financial nuances of the resources, allocation of such resource accordingly and a pragmatic approach to delivering cost-effective solutions Mentoring and directing the team towards improving skillsets and performance Being continuously updated on the various design trends in the offline and online space Required Skill Sets: Ideation and execution skills Knowledge and experience of the latest design software Knowledge and experience of the complete designing process, right from the basics to final output, both in the offline and online space Complete knowledge of all media platforms in various domains Excellent communication and team management skills Academic/Educational Requirements: Degree/ Diploma/ PG in Commercial Art/ Applied Art/ Communication Art,
