Job Description

    *In this role on the COO team, you will report to the Global TTI Lead in the Office of the COO in America as well as the Head of Corporate Services Asia. The main responsibility of the Asia TTI Manager is to lead various business transformation and technology innovation projects and programs both globally as well as to serve as the transformation point of contact for the Corporate Services Asia regional teams.You Will: Perform an advisory role to assess, design and help deliver transformational business optimization opportunities. Objectives of the role include organizational and operational process design, business analysis, business technology project management and program governance of transformation projects. Responsibilities include working with Asia stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with regional objectives, helping to define business requirements for technology innovation solutions, communicating program status to regional management, enhancing operational efficiency through innovative improvements to the employee experience and helping to manage program risk, while also understanding. Representing and addressing the Asia market, regulatory, business and cultural requirements. Review key operational processes to help transform existing practices and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. This may or may not involve enabling technology solutions. Support key departmental transformational initiatives by providing PMO assistance to Corporate Services functions when driven out of Asia Work closely with Morgan Stanley technology teams to support the departmental Innovation agenda through leverage of technology solutions (For example, machine learning, robotic process automation, etc.). Examples of global Corporate Services initiatives on the Innovation agenda: Office of the Future, Internal Employee Experience mobile App MyHub and Corporate Services Helpdesk Chat Bot iAsk. Work with Corporate Services functions to build strong relationships with the Corporate Services Asia Management team and other key stakeholders across the region to drive continuous improvement and associated governance. Be a representative, advocate and delegate of the India COO leadership team communicating program status, seeking feedback and guidance and returning region-specific feedback to the broader TTI team. Partner with the Corporate Services Centralized Reporting utility lead to optimize synergies and global reporting and analytics departmental transformation Collaborate with the Asia Corporate Services COO management team for initiatives touching Finance, Risk and Engagement, *To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate these core competencies: Change Management to drive change via new thinking Commercial Impact to identify and evaluate opportunities for continual process improvement Execution to deliver projects from inception to closure Effective Communication to covey ideas, gather users requirements, influence decisions and present proposalsTo be successful in this role, you will have these technical skills, degree(s) or knowledge: Strong ethics and willingness to learn new skills or topics Strong analytical, problem solving skills with an inquisitive and resilient mind to explore creative and innovative solutions Understand organizational processes, tracking and reporting requirements Strong project management skills Ability to prioritize workload with a high degree of commitment to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage at an executive level High degree of technology, software and systems competence is preferredTo be successful in this role, you will have additional experience in or are required to: Post graduate caliber individual with a minimum 7 years business technology & transformation management / business management experience Excellent performance record in managing clients (both internal and external) at all levels Experience in working in a multi-cultural and global matrix organization Experience in working in the banking industry is an advantageTo give you an extra boost, you will benefit from: Experience in process re-engineering, start to finish Medium to advanced proficiency in computer literacy.
