Job Description

    Job descriptionThis role involves verifying semiconductor integrated digital and mixed signal circuits. You will work with global design and verification team to understand verification requirements and find creative verification solutions to achieve the quality metrics.Responsibilities:
    • Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
    • Exercises autonomous judgment in selecting best methods and techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain solutions
    • Define various aspects of the verification flow
    • Create architecture document for verification environment, test bench, and test cases
    • Create verification closure metrics e.g. checks, assertions, functional coverage and code coverage
    • Develop verification environment
    • Guide engineers to write test cases for functional verification and code coverage
    Key Qualifications:
    • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering
    • At least 9 years of related experience
    Requirements:
    • Understands customer wants and needs
    • Frequently performs in project leadership role
    • Establishes methods and procedures on new assignments and projects
    • Offers new solutions or direction and is able to encourage and motivate others to support new solution or direction.
    • Coordinate activities of other personnel as a team head
    • Represents the organization as the main contact on business unit and/or company-wide projects
    • Interacts with management and senior external personnel on matters requiring coordination across internal groups.
    • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
    • Hands-on in digital, mixed signal design verification processes
    • Experience in HVL based test environments, test plan development
    • Understanding of one or more connectivity protocols e.g. USB, PCI Express, Ethernet, AMBA
    • Expertise in verification methodologies e.g. UVM, VMM, OVM
    • In depth understanding of one or more Industry standard simulators
    • Demonstrate good data-backed debug and problem-solving skills
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Familiarity with scripting languages e.g. Verilog, Perl, Python
    Preferred Skills:
    • Working understanding on the USB specification is preferred
