Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Knowledge of vehicle aggregates in Auto, Tractor, Trucks & Two wheeler
    • Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for sheet metal components.
    • Cost Estimation of parts from SOR/drawing.
    • Knowledge of Sheet metal material grades, welding & surface treatment processes.
    • Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.
    • Vehicle level systems Overall knowledge.
    • Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in sheet metal components.
    • Knowledge of Most techniques,Component Cost Benchmarking, VAVE, Target Costing / Business perspective.
    • Working knowledge & experience of monitoring projects
    • Coordination with various agencies (i.e.PD/PP/ CME/CDMM/Sourcing)
    • Standiazation of child parts.
    • Working on Microsoft office. (MS Excel, word, Power point presentation etc)
    • Knowledge of design tools like 3D, Catia, UGNx
    Preferred Industries AutomobileFarm Sector Education Qualification B.E.(Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production) General Experience 3 Years of relevant experience in the field of Sheet metal, in function like part development, manufacturing and sourcing of parts. Critical Experience
    • Knowledge of Sheet metal Components of Auto,Tractor,Truck & Two wheeler
    • Knowledge of related processes like stamping, welding, surface treatment.
    • CFT working
    • Understanding of commercials & broad level business practices.
    • Cost Estimation based on component drawing
    • Good communication both written and verbal
    • Excellent Analytical Skill
    • High level of Problem solving skills
    • Excellent team player
    • Out-of-box thinker
