Job Description

Assistant Logistics ( 1 position )Assist in management for all logistics tasks related to the University.Duties & Responsibilities

Receive and dispatch shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Interact with third party logistics service providers
Audit freight cost and documentation
Ensure accuracy of all inventories
Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
Review bills, invoices and purchase orders
Organise files both manually and electronically
Ensure that the warehouse has sufficient space for incoming deliveries
Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items

Experience3 to 5 years of relevant experienceSkills & Abilities

Good oral and written communication
Strong emphasis on follow-up and organisational capability
Experience with Microsoft Office
