The Specialty Analytics & Consulting team setup within JLT India, Knowledge Services department where the key focus of the team is;Development of new, market-leading analytics-based tools to assess risk under direct supervisionQuantitative modelling and statistical analysis in order to assess risk and viability of risk mitigation solutionsProviding research support to identify recommendations that minimize the cost of riskOther analytical services to clients financial needs to forecast risk, losses, and financial impactRisk assessment and possible outcomes by scenario testingRisk Finance OptimizationCalculation of Risk Bearing CapacityAssistant ManagerRole RequirementsContribute to actuarial forecasting including loss projection and loss collateral analysis for casualty lines for both clients and prospectsContribute to limit/retention analyses of line of business including but not limited to Cyber, D&O, Environmental , Auto liabilityHave strong interest in working with data and demonstrate the ability to extract and reconcile data and generate meaningful insights.Support projects and tool development by doing relevant research.Prepare reports and presentations relating to actuarial adviceBuild machine learning algorithms using R and Python.Work on aggregating claims database in AccessWork on Automation using advance VBA programmingQualificationA degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial / Computer Science/EngineeringShould have cleared 4-5 actuarial papers. Preferably (CT1,CT3 and CT6)2 to 4 Years of experienceTechnical SkillsGood applied statistical skills (distributions, Hypothesis testing, ANOVA, Regression, Time Series etc.)Good database skills in either MS Access or SQL.Good knowledge of MS Excel and VBA.Basic understanding of non-life Insurance and Reinsurance products.Knowledge and application of the IBNR calculation methodsHave worked on loss forecasting methods/ frequency and severity modelling.Understand R and Python with the ability to execute and develop models in R and Python.General SkillsGood communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to clearly set out results and to communicate them effectivelyWork to a high standard of accuracy under pressure and to deliver results within agreed timescalesActively participate in meetingsAdaptive to organisational culture and business environmentTeam player,
