The Data Analytics & Reporting team supports the global analytics projects and drives the data driven insights, reports and MIS for the group. Key objectives of this team are:Understand the business requirements and deliver insights through data collection and analysisWork on Claims and other data analytics report, Provide summary and recommendations/insightsConsolidate insurance claims & other dataset with proper validations and checks.Proactively identify data trends and market intelligence to support the analytics propositions for the businessesProactively work on Claims Dashboard POCs and executeAnalystRole RequirementsIdentify the anomalies in the data and liaise with business to understand the dataWork closely with Manager to define and create a data model which is consistent and scalable using the large existing dataset extractedStreamline the capture of the data according to the data model and work closely across teams to ensure consistent flow of data into the data modelsDemonstrated ability to create meaningful reports using datasetsAbility to develop new and maintain existing tools either independently (Excel and VBA based)Ability to consolidation and communication of resultsContribute ideas and suggestions for improvementsTraining and sharing of knowledge with colleaguesWillingness to acquire new and relevant skills (Power BI/Tableau) , and be abreast with latest trends in data analyticsQualificationUndergraduate in any stream.Technical Skills3 to 4 years of experience in the insurance space or a field where candidate was working with varied forms of structured and unstructured datasets.Strong in MS excel and ability to develop dynamic interactive dashboardsExperienced in MIS tools like , Tableau/ Power BI.General SkillsGood communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptive to organisational culture and business environmentTeam playerCollaborative approach to work,
