Assist in the review and payment of withholding taxes Prepare draft tax returns (corporate tax, withholding tax, other business tax returns but not including payroll) with supporting corporate tax computations, for review by Tax Manager Preparation of tax provision for annual statutory accounts or other more frequent statements Assistance in relation to any Tax Authority audit and litigation Working regularly with Affiliates based in different countries to ensure the client corporate compliance is accurately prepared and has met all required deadlines Updating tax trackers and tax management reports as required Improving efficiency of tax compliance and providing service within agreed and budgeted hours Responding emails in 24 hours as per Policy and attend all scheduled meetings Ensure a clear understanding of Client requirements and the terms for services to be provided. Provide assistance to team and Tax Manager in the management of a portfolio of Clients, delivering timely compliance services, analysis and documentation as agreed with the Tax Manager and, where appropriate, client. Ensure appropriate support and assistance is sought by relevant Affiliates in receiving countries and that those services are managed to maximum effect. Ensure the work for each Client is progressed as agreed and that problems/ issues are highlighted as early as possible in the process and managed to a positive outcome. Keep abreast of developments in international tax that will impact the Client base. Ensure files/ documentation kept on Clients behalf are maintained to appropriate internal and external legislative requirements. Provide ad- hoc support to other taxation team as requested. Ensure timesheets are submitted as required ensuring they accurately reflect weekly activity. Ensure work is accurately inputted into appropriate tracking systems. Assist the Tax Manager in Annual Tax provision calculations and keep update on any corporate Tax rate changes Assist the Tax Manager in Tax Litigation and Tax Audit, prepare the documents required by the authorities. Skills, Knowledge & Experience A basic knowledge of International Tax and Compliance best practices. Has a high standard of written and oral English and can display information in a format to assist understanding, impact and professionalism. Additional foreign language skills desirable. IT Skills Proficient use of Word and Excel and office systems can extract and manage data efficiently. Additional finance software experience would be useful. Numerical Skills Uses figures, tables and other numerical data to carry out a full range of calculations efficiently and accurately. Reviews work/ activities thoroughly to ensure all pertinent issues are dealt at a detailed level and documented appropriately. Responds well to constructive feedback. Experience of providing Client Services, preferably in and/ or with an International Operation. Experience of working within a team and all across a multitude of teams, to ensure the delivery of excellent client service both in relation to. Must be a post graduate M.com or a CA inter with 3- 5 years of Taxation experience. Must have independent working experience on Tax assignments, Tax return preparation and calculation of Tax. Must have proficient verbal and written English Skills.
