The major Responsibilities would be as follows : 1) Corporate Reputation and Positioning of Roche - Raising awareness among external stakeholders about Roches scale of Business , Products , Technology , R&D and Services- Support Roches success stories in Media- Support relationships with key media to drive positive media coverage and awareness of the Groups product portfolio and commitment to the country- Support the local media strategy and ensure key messages are communicated to targeted external audiences.- Support and prepare media collaterals to factual Context for the key public / media coverages e.g. biosimilars- Explore and positioning the company in TL space , amongst key customers and other external stakeholders , as a trusted partner i.e. International media based in Mumbai- Support roll - out of new platforms that would help increase Corporate visibility while engaging External stakeholders.- Support Effective KOL media engagement with Brand and State teams2) Handling Issues / Crisis Management - Support Corporate Brand Building exercise- Proactively mitigate any Risk to Roches Reputation- Update and influence Government policy and Industry dynamics- Anticipate changes in business dynamics from Policy Perspective and provide insights- Anticipate and identify issues / provide insights that may have an impact3) Internal Communications - Drive Internal Communication Strategies and plans that engage employees with the Roches vision , Pharma business strategies / priorities and values- Understand Business strategy and influence business through leveraging communication- Managing local intranet and internet- Leverage internal communication platforms for business communications- Liase with stakeholders to drive internal communication programs for employee engagement- Develop and implement tools and Processes for smooth internal communications- Support Leadership Team for effective internal communications- Liase with Compliance- Leveraging Employer brand- Manage large scale internal communication events (e.g. quarterly town hall) to ensure effective employee communications- Develop and roll out SOP for areas of communication4) Corporate Social Responsibility - Execute and Support Global CSR programs- Design and Develop effective CSR Programs with matrix to gain goodwill in IndiaThe Manager should possess the following qualities : - Organized , Strategic , Self - Starter possessing a positive approach- Should possess good influencing ability , negotiation and Project Management Skills- Strong Interpersonal Skills and must be Assertive- Strong Presentation Skills- Ability to engage in discussions with Senior Management- Ability to write , create and articulate an argument which is fact based and constructive- Expert in Communication trends.- Ability to deal with ambiguity and proven crisis management skills- Ability to work in a Matrix Environment- Must be Collaborative and a Team Player- Strong learning agility- Strong on Values and EmpathyRoche is an equal opportunity employer.
