Job Description

    1. RFQ preparation for Dies and BIW fixtures 2. Stamping Die Designing and BIW fixture designing 3. Design approvals for Dies and BIW fixtures 4. Determining Press suitability for dies 5. Gun study for spot welding feasibility 5. Die Buyoff at die manufacturer - Static Buyoff and Dynamic Buyoff 6. BIW fixture buyofff at Supplier - M1, M2, M3 7. Old die o fixture modification/refurbishment - scanning, feasibility checking and proposig changes to be carried out 8. Resolution of Quality defects in Stamping and BIW areas 9. Press Shop and Body Shop Capacity Planning 10. Change Management - ECN, PCRN and PDRN 11. Creation and maintenance of BOM, Process Sheet and DCP documentations 12. Budgeting for sustenance and improvements Preferred Industries Manufacturing Education Qualification Degree/ Diploma in Tool Design General Experience 1. Working knowledge of Digital Manufacturing tools - Catia V5, UG, AutoCAD, Delcam 2. In depth knowledge of types of dies, die elements, die materials, etc. 3. Understanding of defects and ability to propose solution to resolve the issues 4. In depth knowledge of BIW process for new product development, product design change/ IMCR 5. Knowledge of Body shop fixture elements, pneumatic circuits and PLC 6.
