Job Description

Job Title/Designation: Assistant Manager (Project Finance) Position: Assistant Manager (Project Finance) Location : Mumbai (Bandra)

  • To lead and develop effective and robust internal financial control & compliance processes for CAPEX and project financing with close coordination with project team.
  • Hands on experience of project viability analysis, project capitalisation and monitoring.
  • To oversee accounts payable function and monitoring/approving vendors payments mainly projects related bills and to ensure timely disbursements. In-depth knowledge about GST provisions relevant to capex projects.
  • To control and co-ordinate with location projects / finance team to ensure rigorous monitoring of status of the projects, identifying bottlenecks, issues and periodical reporting to management. Need based travelling to projects sites/plants to coordinate and interactions with locations projects/finance team/corporate office.
  • Monitoring of capital spend budget and forecast from the Capex portal already in place. Interact with IT to ensure proper flow of Capex approvals.
  • Involvements in project finance and commercial functions encompassing analysis of tenders, price negotiation, payment terms and other commercial terms and conditions.
  • Capitalization of projects, analyzing profitability and expected returns and preparing necessary action plan for resolving the issues and improving the returns.
  • Involvement in monthly book closure, day to day plant accounting and compilations of MIS etc for statutory reporting and management reporting.
  • To tackle statutory and internal audits for plant to resolve queries and implement internal controls.
Required Candidate profileKey Competencies / Skills:
  • 3-5 years, Preferably in a project engineering company. Should have worked on raising project finance
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of Tally ERP
  • Expertise in Excel, word & Power Points.
  • Timely and effective reporting
  • Exposure of Accounts payable and Accounts finalization
  • Preferably in a project engineering company / Preferably in a construction company
  • Male candidates preferably from Bandra, Andheri, BKC, Kurla, Sion, Lower Parel preferred.
