Job Description

  • Follows SOPs and protocols; floats enquiries and examines quotes for technical and commercial viability for different Bought out parts
  • Co-ordinates with the Quality for audit of the incoming parts
  • Collates feedback on vendors through factory personnel and provides inputs to the seniors
  • Looks for new sources of material in both international and local markets and shares any leads with the level above
  • Ensures system adherence in all aspects of purchase.
  • Prepares and summarizes data / MIS
  • Tracks supplier performance month over month
  • Supports long term relationship development with strategic quality suppliers
  • Supports SCM function.

Executive Sales Support Pre Order Engineering

Interactions with Customer/TIC for Order Booking

  • Closely working with Finance Commercial for Profitability and Collectibles
  • To input orders which are 100% executable by logging First Time Right Sales Order
  • New Order technical understanding and agreement with customer on Scope compliances
  • Conduct CRM meeting in close working with Operations
  • Technical compliance customer clearance on IFAT/CFAT to dispatch the order in full
  • Adherence to Business Rule Compliances ISO audit conformities

Team Lead - Project Documentation
  • Reviewing and releasing project documentation to ensure on time and accurate documentation delivery
  • Understand new requirement through customer URS/Project management team for special requirements, response to Sales/ Project management team for compliance
  • Co-ordination with translation agency to execute translation projects
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering and Automation/Controls team to prepare project documentation
  • Collaborate with QA for verification of documentation before and during FAT process
  • Collaborate with service team to resolve issues faced at site and work for improvement in future supply
  • Collaborate with Master Documentation team to review receive master documentation projects.
  • Collate monthly information on executed projects (standard special) to prepare monthly reports and data analysis for reference of Master Documentation Head and Respective AE Head

Assistant Manager-Supply Chain 10-15 years

Qualification : Bachelors in Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation) or BSc in Physics/Chemistry

  • Define, Measure, Monitor, Control, Standardize the SCM system
  • Operationalizes long-term plan and ensures availability of sub-contracting components, sub-assemblies and raw materials as per production
  • Interacts with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and finalization of purchase rates
  • Ensures SOPs and protocols are followed for various department related activities such as vendor evaluation, commercial terms etc
  • Arranges and organizes regular visits of factory personnel to vendor s premises and facilities with a view to constantly assess them in terms of vendor reliability.
  • Ensures availability and regular updation of all-relevant statutory certificates and material safety data sheets from suppliers/vendors in conformation to the National/International standards.
  • Ensures evaluation of vendors using the vendor-rating tool and sharing of feedback to improve/maintain
