Designation: Assistant Manager Production Department: Production Job Location: Mumbai Position Title : Assistant Manager - Production Grade : M4 Reports to (Position) : Sr. Manager (Production) I. DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVE 1. Reduction in Rejection. 2. Efficiency Improvement. 3. System (i.e. IMS, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, TPM, SAP, etc.) Compliances. 4. Technical Training & development of manpower. 5. Cost Saving Project. II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (KEY DELIVERABLES) 1. Shall ensure that required resources are available in all the section of production (Man, Machine and Material). 2. Shall ensure that daily production targets are achieved with desired quality 3. Shall ensure that QMS is developed, Implemented and monitored in all section of the production. 4. Shall ensure that all the production operators are well trained pertaining to productivity and quality. 5. Shall ensure that there is 0 3D in the department. 6. Shall ensure that good house keeping is maintained in all section of production. 7. Shall ensure that all production instruments and machineries are in good condition. 8. Shall ensure that production batches are close on time for the data accuracy. 9. Shall ensure that Daily MIS is updated and monitored. 10. Shall ensure that resources are properly utilized. III. Total staff controlled (employees reporting to the position) - 100 IV. CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Young and dynamic result driven professional with experience in Production and process control Knowledge of IMS like Quality management System, Environment management system and Health and safety management system. Knowledge of TQM, problem solving techniques, Knowledge of using the 7 tools of quality for the process control and supervisory skill for the resources management. ,
