Job Description

Sales Support function is an integral part of the Asset Management Distribution group. The analyst will be responsible to provide a fully integrated center of relationship intelligence, connecting all touch points across the client lifecycle - to help drive sales performance and deliver a purposeful client experience.The India Sales Support team works closely with client advisors, financial advisors, relationship managers and global sales support teams to help facilitate the process. The role also requires coordinating with various internal teams (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, MIS/Business Intelligence and Technology) to be able to provide holistic coverage across the cycleWe are looking for candidate to join any of our Sales Team He/she will provide support for all facets of the sales, business development and retention process:

  • Understand client trends and industry developments where required
  • Prepare presentations for sales pitches and contribute to the RFP process
  • Understand current and new client relationships, their asset allocation preferences and assist in client review presentations
  • Assist with the preparation of material for strategy meets / business reviews / sales conferences
  • Help manage and maintain various databases, systems and applications to enable effective transition of roles and responsibilities across the sales cycle and assist data analysis to help make informed decisions.
  • Standard Reporting and Ad hoc support responsibilities across the business channels and management
  • Client Reporting help to monitor that client reporting deadlines are met and perform spot checks on reporting quality
  • The candidate will also need to gain an understanding of the sales process to better align requirements to the changing business scenarios
  • Support of sales and marketing sales strategy delivery
  • Supporting the Marketing head including but not limited to:
  • Event management including, invitation and RSVP management
  • Co-ordination of content and production of various marketing materials
  • Co-ordination and posting of social media updates
Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry experience and knowledge of sales process, MBA/CFA is a plus. Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance or other related discipline
  • Understanding of asset management industry
  • Strong Quantitative and analytical skillsets (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) required
  • Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce knowledge is a plus) and data mining tools (Python, SQL, BO, etc.) is desirable
Skills:
  • Understanding of Asset Management business (Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts) preferable
  • Ability to delve into details with a view to proactively solve issues, develop new ideas and add value to existing functions
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities/workflows
  • Proven ability to quickly learn the business, the application and adapt to ever changing priorities
  • Strong commitment to accuracy
