Job Description

As an Associate you will be responsible for delivering on monthly MIS reporting and analysis as a part of the Corporate and Investment Bank CFO Support group Specifically Markets CFO group. This includes

  • Design, develop and support various monthly / quarterly reporting around Global EMRs (Executive Management Report), Business Review packs, materials for Regulatory reporting etc
  • Extraction and mining of data from the source MIS systems
  • Ability to analyze the information to be able to present analysis to business
  • Ability to understand the changing business needs, redesign MIS and analysis around the same
  • Ability to handle a very dynamic work environment
  • Support ad hoc requests from the business and senior management
  • Support quarterly business meetings and any analysis required by senior management
  • Proactive involvement in the business and development of infrastructure required to support reporting and analysis
  • Analyze, communicate and deliver on high quality MIS in stringent timelines
  • Liaison with other support groups
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support forecast and budget process for the business
  • Good knowledge of Financial Markets, both Fixed Income & Equities and Derivative products
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to consolidate and analyze data received from multiple clients
  • Eye for detail and presentation
  • Ability to work in a dynamic working environment
  • Willing to work in shifts
  • Self driven and able to prioritize effectively
  • CA / MBA with 4-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to interrogate and interpret financial statements
  • Should have the ability of meeting client requests under stringent timelines
  • Capability of adapting to changes in reporting requirements, business and regulatory changes
  • Good Excel skills (i.e. data manipulation, macros, vlookups, array formulas, pivot tables) and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of Advanced Excel would be an added advantage.
  • Experience of working on Dashboards like Tableau, Qlikview, Qliksense etc. will be an advantage
  • Primarily EMEA shifts, may have to work on a few critical business days of the month in New York shifts.
