Job Description As the first line of defense for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC), Control Management prevents, detects and monitors operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. Reporting to the Strategic Issue Management Practices Program Manager across AWM, CCB and ICB for CORE Practices, you will be part of an agile, future focused, and collaborative team. On any day of the week, you might providing execution and leadership for strategic initiatives impacting Issue Management, assess the operational strengths and vulnerabilities related to firmwide Issue Management Standards, design enhancements stemming from themes in Data Quality reviews, develop an advanced technology solution built to drive process improvement, proactively identify and respond to high profile issues or emerging risks of utmost importance to Control Executives and provide information for C-suite level committees. Responsibilities
    • Prepare and provide operational issue management guidance to key stakeholders and perform deep dive analysis of thematic issues
    • Host sessions and reviews on various Issue Management topics to facilitate a consistent approach across the organizations
    • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and create a more resilient control practices environment and participate in projects to deliver improvements
    • Monitor effectiveness of key execution processes, both with LOB CORE Leads and across Controls Management
    • Support governance of issue management, generating reporting, presentations and providing information appropriately to Controls Management and for Firmwide/Business operating committees
    • Engage with partners across functional areas (e.g., CORE Central, Regulatory, Compliance, Risk) and geographies
    Knowledge and Skills Requirements
    • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent preferred
    • 3 -5 years of relevant experience; background in Controls, Issue Management or Risk Management preferred
    • Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to synthesize and formulate conclusions
    • A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details for practical application
    • A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
