Job Description

  • Grant relationship management - Manage and develop programs that advance the firm s philanthropic ambition and align local economic inclusion and CSR priorities with the focus areas of Global Philanthropy, in particular in the jobs and skills space in India. Work with internal and external stakeholders to build synergies and effectiveness to drive the maximum possible social and financial impact of the philanthropic programs.
  • Portfolio development - Identify innovative initiatives that bridge the gap between the skills needed by employers in growing industries with the skills possessed by vulnerable community members.
  • Data and reporting -Manage the India grant portfolio data and reporting for international, regional and country and statutory requirements. Track, monitor and publish dashboards on requisite data points.
  • Employee engagement and volunteering (EEV) - Collaborate with the India EEV lead on to identify synergies with grantees and volunteering
  • Communication - Share best practices at the regional and international level. Provide updates, briefings and measurements to ensure that key stakeholders and in particular the local and regional governance committees are well informed and that our work is well positioned, visible and high quality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree (Masters preferred) in economic development/social sector, an international degree is a plus
  • 8-10 years of experience in grant making and management in India (including direct community engagement) with a significant part of it being in skills, education, economic development or economic mobility changes
  • High degree of proficiency with data analytics, reporting, planning and presentation tools
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis, collaborative, self-motivated and ability to work both in a team as well as in independent context
  • Flexible to travel extensively to project sites to monitor progress and ensure timeliness and quality of implementation
