You will play an instrumental role in helping us expand access to our products by working on various innovative business models, helping us reduce the barriers and thus ensure smooth access of essential and innovative medicines for the underserved and marginalized populations across the world.Purpose of this role: Lead or support Public Affairs activities/projects to support business objectives in the area of responsibility, engage in stakeholder engagement in the area of responsibility Shape external policy in the area of responsibility. Position Novartis as a trusted partner. Hold key external stakeholder relationships. Deliver political intelligence and advice to relevant Novartis businesses Provide support to PA Leadership.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Identify, prioritize and drive topics which define policy environment for business and helps in the creation, revision and publishing of policy documents, advocacy toolkits, training materials. Shape, represent, and advance Novartis legislative, policy and alliance strategic objectives to execute product advocacy where applicable. Map external partners and systematically engage, setting up key platforms for engagement on key policy and business priorities, working in partnership and lead teams on specific projects, through feasibility, planning, execution and reporting; helps to projects in cross -functional / cross-divisional team. Identify and analyze legislation that may affect Novartis business, as well as propose language and strategies to amend and improve legislation Role model Novartis culture that drives enterprise wide engagement with COE platforms, hubs, and overall resources for awareness and education about Access principles. Ultimately responsible for driving impactful learning experience of associates and lowering transaction costs of connecting with resources and standard methodologies. Manage awareness & education, design and roll out trainings. Identify and handle Access Principles Champions Network to craft engagement continnum (Communication) Perform advisory & stewardship and to deliver advisory services on solutions and needs linked to Access Principles (from G-R-C markets), set up and manage Access Principles Resource Center Develop tools/frameworks for HSS by setting up and coordinate HSS collaboration hub, develop and deliver capacity building for GH CPOs and GH markets, technical expertise from subject matter experts. Eg. Health financing, innovative financing, M&E, health service delivery models, design and manage Access Principles offerings (Generic process), define guidance for offerings and define process to manage offerings, define technical services for offering and communicate offeringsMinimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Advanced Degree in business, economics, public health, engineering, medicine or relevant experience in Global Health innovation, innovative financing, and/or global health entrepreneurship Platform management Capacity building Stakeholder managementWhy consider Sandoz Our number 1 priority is to pioneer patient access to better healthcare.
