Job Description

Strategy

  • Contribute towards strategy for Capital Markets South Asia
    • tie in with overall CIB client / segment strategy
    • product revenue & League Table positions, market share
Business
  • Pitch preparation - solutions approach for key transactions & key clients
  • Negotiating & finalizing transaction documents in conjunction with CM Legal
Processes
  • Adhering to all the internal processes with regards to transaction approval
  • Structuring, pricing, executing deals and obtaining all internal approvals for transactions
Risk Management & Compliance
  • manage the product risks that arise from pricing and /or underwriting
  • ensure overall sanctity of Product Program requirements at all times
Regulatory & Business conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
