Job Description

Assisting in end to end deal execution in the Loan Syndications business across multiple product groups and sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • To assist and manage syndicated loan transactions for the Bank s customers in South Asia.
  • Working closely with Global Banking Clients, Commercial Banking Clients and other Product teams (such as CRE, LSS, Project Finance, Shipping Finance, etc.) to provide structured financing solutions to meet clients and loan markets needs.
  • Along with the Deal Leads, manage the deal execution process of major financing and to manage underwriting risks/sell-downs. Key aspects of transaction execution: assisting in the process of primary syndication from loan inception to completion including: Preparation of client pitches, Structuring and pricing, arranging for internal approvals and ensuring adherence to internal process, Offer letter preparation, Client negotiations, Launch of syndication, Documentation and Loan signing
  • Assist in the primary syndication of the transaction. Key aspects include preparing the information pack, launch of syndication, bookrunning reports, interacting with investors for transaction related queries and getting commitments for deals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with loan investors both in India and offshore
  • Providing loan market intelligence to other product partners / Coverage
Other responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of league tables, internal reports (check-in, stick reports etc); periodic updates to credit and business teams, underwriting reports etc.
  • Manage all Loan Syndications, South Asia processes, ensuring compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders in the bank.
