Job Description

    GH GMA is 2 years old and we have gone from covering medical affairs in 46 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), to being a key enabling partner in 7 GH programs, plus in our activities across Latin America and South-East Asia. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in the critical art of sci-comms and engagement across developed and developing markets focusing foremost on our launch products in sickle cell disease, malaria and COVID-19 but also helping build SEC capabilities across GH GMA and SSA to build our bench-strength for the future.Become a part of the evolving and growing Global Medical Affairs team in Global Health:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead the country Franchise Medical Team, develop the Franchise Medical Strategy and executes it through and operational Medical Plan. Coach and develop team members as well as represent Medical in country Franchise Leadership Team. Lead and drive Scientific Engagement & Communications (publications, scientific events, medical education and stakeholder engagement) strategy for an assigned brand(s) (launch or key in-market brands) & programs; ensure the execution of strategic scientific communication plans, including KPI setting and measurement. For launch brands, ensure scientific communications launch readiness, in collaboration with the GMAT & GPT. Key KPIs for the role are as follows: Strategy Quality of the scientific communication strategy, appropriate to brand lifecycle Quality of support to medical launch excellence strategy for respective brands Functional Quality 100% compliance with legal regulations, industry codes and internal compliance standards Effective communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders Quality of the tactical SEC plan, including publications, medical education, congress activities, supporting brand and business needs Adherence to compliance timelines for respective publications as per SOP Quality of medical society engagement collaboration Works within Ethics and Compliance policies.
