Job Description

To ensure seamless transition ofIBA work to be offshored to Mumbai. This will include the full end to end process including Statement Rendering, Reconciliations, Payments/ Receipts, Stakeholder Management, Query Resolution, chasing, escalation and managing metrics.The desired candidates will be responsible to learn the process and set up in Mumbai and to streamline all activities in line with existing IBA practises and procedures. He/ She will also need to update his/ her PL/ TM and build confidence with stakeholder both internal as well as onshore team. Working time would be the usual i.e. a 9 hour shift anytime between 9.30 a.m. - 12.00 a.m. (IST). Role Description Role Requirements v Actively controlling and managing all items on a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection and payment of premium due to/from client /carrier. v Render monthly statements to Account Holder v Reconciling statement of account and offsetting premiums against Return premiums v Proper reconciliation/ matching of cash received to reflect correct audit trail. v Utilizing excellent communication skills at all levels within JLT and with external customers v Reviewing Ledgers and providing accurate analysis of accounts. v Ensure uncollected fees and premiums are highlighted to Business Unit/Account Executive before provision for Bad debts have to be made. v Managing and prioritizing workload within own portfolio to meet pre-determined deadlines v Ensure no funding unless pre-approved and copy of signed document in file v Ensure PPD and PPWs are met and inform Account Exec of the same. v Maintenance of relevant record / logs / timesheet v Understand and contribute to the achievement of individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators v Understand and adhere to the Compliance Standards / FCA requirements / SOX standard Technical Skills v Good Proficiency in using MS Excel General Skills v Basic Understanding of the broking business v Good written and verbal communication skills v Should know Basics of Accounting v Eye for Detail v Logical Reasoning v Problem Solving and Analytical Skills Preferred candidate profile Prior Experience vPreferably having knowledge on Insurance Broking though not mandatory. Education/ Qualification v Must be a Graduate v Cert CII preferable ,
