Job Description

Financial Accounting and Reporting team is a team with expertise in :Financial reporting through IFRS and FGAAP, including reporting for complex entities/products and taxationFinancial accounting for various structured products/entities including Statutory Financial Statements preparationConsolidation of financials including intercompany reconciliation and global CIB Intercompany coordinationPosition PurposeEnsure that financial reporting to the Head Office and Management is complete, accurate and compliant with Group accounting policiesContribute to the pre-closing processPerform and document accounting controls and analysisContribute to the automation of certain accounting processes and the standardisation of booking schemes among entities.ResponsibilitiesDirect ResponsibilitiesPrepare the financial reporting sent on a monthly basis to the Head Office: P&L, balance sheet, off balance sheet, annexes, tax book, regulatory reporting schedulesPrepare ad hoc Financial Reporting s for Head office upon requestContribute to accounting controls and analysis as defined by the BNP Paribas Standard Accounting Control Plan.Contribute to inter-company transactions reconciliation.Ensure the good coordination with the Regional Financial Reporting team, in particular during the pre-closing process and whenever an accounting issue needs to be addressedParticipate to Finance Projects linked to Head Office Financial ReportingContributing ResponsibilitiesContribute to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework.Monitor Financial Reporting through key performance and key risk indicators. In particular contribute to the elimination of manual reclassifications and warnings/missing items.Report incidents and accounting issuesTechnical & Behavioral CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting under IFRSStrong knowledge of Financial ProductsComfortable with basic office tools (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Outlook)Excellent knowledge and use of MS ExcelSpecific Qualifications(if required)Chartered Accountant, CPA or equivalent MBA FinanceSkills ReferentialBehaviouralSkills: (Please select up to 4 skills)Communication skills - oral & writtenAbility to synthetize / simplifyChoose an item.Decision MakingTransversal Skills:(Please select up to 5 skills)Ability to anticipate business / strategic evolutionAbility to understand, explain and support changeAbility to develop and adapt a process,
