This person should possess a strong understanding of content platforms like websites, podcasts and social media. The role requires good project management skills to ensure satisfaction of all stakeholders, most of whom are senior leaders in the firm. Work is time bound, so multitasking is a must as deadlines are sacrosanct. The role requires the daily rigor and discipline of monitoring and editing website content. Role will report into Manager - Owned media. This individual will oversee all aspects of PwC s corporate website PwC dot in- PwC s official website for India territory.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identifying fatigued content and working closely with business teams to co-create relevant and engaging content for the website
  • Create new pages that are duly optimised for relevant keywords to highlight and detail new services offerings and products from PwC
  • Refresh the home page with regular frequency to improve user experience and increase time spent
  • Performing language and quality checks to ensure the content being uploaded on the website is as per PwC brand guidelines
  • Ensure reporting of web analytics and interpret data to understand website performance (experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture Site Catalyst will be a plus). Detailed reports to be presented to management and the larger team is part of the mandate.
  • Interact with the external agency for all day to day jobs and projects in pipeline. Past experience of working with media agencies will be an incremental bonus and will help the individual in this mandate.
  • Collaborate with global resources across the PwC network, understand best practices, focus areas, change overs to new platforms and connect to seek out new insights that other PwC territories have landed through practice or project
  • Benchmark website performance and content with other PwC territories - US, UK, Australia besides others.
  • Support paid marketing efforts by managing the website leg of it optimize pages to support the click through rates
  • Support various teams and special campaigns on microsite creation
Desired Skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in a content editing role with a strong understanding/experience of various digital content platforms like websites, social media.
  • Preferred schools SIMC, XIC, MICA, Manipal SOC. Any online certificate courses on SEO, content marketing, User Experience (UX) can also be considered along with work experience in these areas.
  • Understanding of social media marketing with an appreciation of the overlap between earned and owned media. Candidate should be able to put this knowledge to use to be able to identify opportunities of landing more traffic on the PwC website from social media platforms or give recommendations on optimising the consumer journey.
  • Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation and SEO content is needed.
  • Eye for detail and keen sense of aesthetics will come in handy
  • Experience of handling a website or blog will be good
  • Experience at working on a CMS platform in the past and working with dev engineers will be an advantage.
  • Experience of working with Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture is a plus.
  • Expertise in search engine marketing campaigns on GSN will be a plus.
  • Candidates having post graduate degree in mass media, advertising and branding, marketing, etc. can also be considered
