Job Description

Data analytics and Risk reporting:

  • Candidate will need to work with minimal supervision/independently on quantitative analytical projects across various fraud functions
  • Code, test and execute information systems projects through end to end automation using SAS, SQL and Tableau
  • Manage, develop and continued enhancement of Key Performance Metrics and Risk Indicators across key Fraud areas to provide best-in-class portfolio monitoring
  • Own regular reports and metrics for all Fraud and risk reporting to ensure that they are timely and accurate
  • Manage multiple industry surveys on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop new reporting dashboards and enhance existing reports to align with the departments long term strategy of an on-demand dashboard driven reporting environment, using BI tools such as Tableau and Cognos and productionize them through BCBS portal
  • Identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to streamline them
  • Gather data and reporting requirements from different teams and business functions and identify gaps with current situation.
  • In a very fast paced and dynamic environment perform segment level analysis to develop strategic recommendations for reducing fraud losses considering False Positive Rates, Loss Impact, Operations Capacity, Customer Experience and Product guidelines. Ensure adherence to Legal and Compliance guidelines
  • Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing QA/QC framework for identified processes and ensures adherence and constant improvement.
Experience: Required established competency in one or more of the following:
  • 3-6 years of relevant analytics experience especially in Retail banking and Cards in strategic analytics/ Data Analytics within Banking / Financial Services / Analytics industry
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complicated and large amounts of data with business insights
  • Extensive experience in SAS, SQL and Tableau, database such as ORACLE/TERADATA
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings
